This was designed to showcase my ability to design OS X applications. I had never done a native application before and needed something to show potential clients. I chose Spotify because I really liked the application to start with but I knew there was some UX flaws in my opinion and goals could be completed with less clicks. I did a round of interviews to back up my decisions with users that use Spotify and finally a follow up and most of them preferred my ideas over the current design.
